Humble whisky was invited to be there and what a joy it was!

Every year Hans Offringa and Becky Offringa in cooperation with slijterij Bartels present a bottle they hand picked for the city of Zwolle.

This year it was a 9 year old Ledaig from the Tobermory Distillery on the island of Mull it has aged in a refill sherry puncheon, unchillfiltered and was bottled on 46%

This Ledaig is a peaty single malt with sweet smoky notes a small pepper and fresh citrus aromas.

It has a warm finish with a good balance between peatsmoke, wood and fruits.

With an always warm presentation, a few laughs and good atmosphere these are always again an event to look forward too!

Cant wait to see what they will pick next year!
